Homecare and Aftercare Advice
After having a Holistic therapy it is important to follow a few guidelines to prolong the affect of your treatment.
· Drink no less than 6 glasses of water within 8-10 hours after your treatment. This aids the body’s systems in removing waste and toxins from the body, especially after massage.
· Eat a healthy, well proportioned meal with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables to give the body fresh nutrients and minerals
· Rest, if you can, after your treatment, no heavy work or exercise, although a short walk is advised 2-3 hours after to help clear the mind.
· Avoid hot and spicy foods, alcohol and caffeine for 12 hours after your treatment, as this will hinder the full effect of the treatment.
· Herbal teas are recommended as a substitute for caffeine.
